AIM Computer Solutions, Inc. hosts Layered Process Audits Seminar for Customer Base

[Fraser, MI – October 23, 2006] – AIM Computer Solutions, Inc. will host guest speaker Murray Sittsamer of The Luminous Group, LLC on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 8:30 a.m. for a breakfast seminar on Layered Process Audits (LPAs).

“Part of our service to our customers is to offer these automotive specific events that are directly tied to their automotive specific mandates, says Jerry Czernel, Vice President of Operations, AIM Computer Solutions.  “Our base understands that we are offering this type of service to them as part of a commitment to their success, over and above the automotive supplier-specific ERP solution we provide to them.”

LPAs are a low cost strategy to get into the single digit ppm range and potentially meet the goal of zero defects to your customer. They are a tool to verify that things most important to quality are done right the first time. LPAs require various layers of supervision and plant leadership to audit processes, work instructions and error proofing on a regular schedule to ensure compliance with documented procedures and standards.

AIM customers responsible for Quality, APQP/PPAP or Program Managers are invited to attend this free seminar and learn:

·        Why Layered Process Audits (LPA) are required by some OEMs and how they can save you significant amounts of money

·        How to select questions for LPA checksheets that add value and simplify auditing

·        How LPA fits together with existing systems and tools most manufactures have already, so that LPA can be implement with low cost and high impact.

This informal presentation will include a continental breakfast, followed by a 90-minute seminar.
